Rehabilitation Activities

Activities in Virtual Athletic Club — archery, boxing, and paddle pong — are designed to improve upper extremity ROM, strength, and endurance.

Bionic Bow™

Focus on upper body active ROM & strengthening in an archery activity. Use one hand to grasp the bow and hold it upright. Use the other hand to hold the string. Aim the bow at the target in front of you, then release the bowstring to shoot the target.

Power Punch™

Work on upper body ROM and strengthening in a futuristic boxing activity. Before each punch, twist your torso in the direction of the approaching target, either a red or green arrow. Use the green glove to punch green arrows and the red glove to punch red arrows.

Paddle Pong™

Work on upper body endurance and strengthening by using your hands as paddles to hit balls. Use one or both hands to hit the balls at the launch pad. When a ball is successfully hit, additional balls are added to the mix.
