Ray: Functional Rehabilitation

I love how you can adjust the settings in REAL® Activities to customize sessions based on patients’ needs.
Meet Ray, a 67-year-old rehabilitation patient who started therapy as a result of a devastating fall. In addition to injuries sustained in the fall, Ray suffers the effects of several underlying health conditions. Ray works with PTs and OTs to improve upper body strength and endurance, core strength, sitting balance, and overall endurance/conditioning.
Mackenzie, Ray’s OT, loves that she can adjust settings in Sports Park activities to have a more specific reach range, vertically and horizontally. To promote Ray’s independence with self-care tasks, she has him work on proximal shoulder strengthening activities. To challenge him, especially with vertical reach range, Mackenzie often instructs Ray to wear four-pound wrist weights while performing Sunrise activity exercises.
Ray LOVES using REAL activities, especially Free Stamp and Paint By Numbers, part of the Creative Canvas family of activities. He is also a huge fan of Flying Fish in the Sports Park family of activities.
