Assess & Measure Rehabilitation Progress

Designed to aid in assessing balance with the REAL y-Series®

Assessments are a key part of a patient’s recovery journey and are used in therapists documentation to track patient progress. Balance measures are often an indicator of fall risk. The REAL y-Series now offers the ability to complete and log assessments in VR with the system.

With the y-Series balance assessments, therapists can:

  • Maintain clinical discretion for assessment acceptability
  • Detect when a patient breaks stance
  • Demonstrate progress to patients
Physical Therapist aids a patient wearing a REAL System y-Series with a reach assessment.

Functional Reach Assessment

Assess a patient’s standing functional reach to determine patient’s risk for falls.

Static Stance Test

Assess a patient’s static standing balance capabilities in a progression of stance positions.
